📖 TARRY: 5-Day Word Study DAY 1

📖 TARRY: 5-Day Word Study

🗓 DAY 1 Tarry In Expectation

Luke 24:49

Study Thought

Jesus told His disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they received the promise of the Father.

To tarry means to wait on, remain, or stay until something happens. The disciples were not waiting passively. They were in expectation. They positioned themselves through prayer, focus and unity, waiting for what Jesus had promised.

Waiting on God is not doing nothing, it is engagement.

👉 Reflect: What promise from God's Word are you presently waiting to see manifested?

🙏 Pray: Father, help me to remain in expectation until I see the manifestation of what you have promised me in Jesus name

📖 WHEN YOU FEEL EMOTIONALLY OVERWHELMED: 5-day Word Study  🗓 DAY 4: Renew Your Mind Rom 12:2 Study Thought  Emotional overwhelm often begins with what we repeatedly think about. You cannot always control what happens around you, but you can learn to control what you allow to dominate your mind.  Don't feed fear with endless thoughts. Don't magnify problems above God's promises. Don't rehearse yesterday's pain all day. Replace destructive thoughts with God's truth.  What you repeatedly meditate on eventually influences how you respond. 👉 Reflect: What thought has been dominating your mind lately and what does God's Word say about it? 🙏 Prayer: Lord, help me to recognise unhealthy thought patterns and replace them with your truth in Jesus name.

But God is not distant from your pain. He is near. He is present when you don't have the words. He is with you when nobody else understands. Your emotions may tell you that you're alone. God's Word tells you otherwise. You are seen. You are heard. You are not abandoned. 👉 Reflection: Have you been carrying something alone that you need to bring before God? 🙏 Prayer: Father, help me to be conscious of your presence, especially in difficult moments in Jesus name
