📖 TARRY: 5-Day Word Study DAY 2

📖 TARRY: 5-Day Word Study

🗓 DAY 2: Tarry in Prayer

Acts 1:14

Study Thought

When the disciples were told to wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit, they gave themselves to prayer.

They didn't simply say, “God has promised it, so let's sit down and wait.” They prayed.

Tarrying involves prayer. There are things you don't stop praying about simply because you haven't seen them yet. Keep bringing them before God.

Keep praying in the Spirit. Tarry in prayer until it manifests.

👉 Reflect: Have you allowed delay to reduce your consistency in prayer?

🙏 Pray: Father, help me to remain consistent in prayer until I see your purpose fulfilled in my life in Jesus name

📖 WHEN YOU FEEL EMOTIONALLY OVERWHELMED: 5-day Word Study  🗓 DAY 4: Renew Your Mind Rom 12:2 Study Thought  Emotional overwhelm often begins with what we repeatedly think about. You cannot always control what happens around you, but you can learn to control what you allow to dominate your mind.  Don't feed fear with endless thoughts. Don't magnify problems above God's promises. Don't rehearse yesterday's pain all day. Replace destructive thoughts with God's truth.  What you repeatedly meditate on eventually influences how you respond. 👉 Reflect: What thought has been dominating your mind lately and what does God's Word say about it? 🙏 Prayer: Lord, help me to recognise unhealthy thought patterns and replace them with your truth in Jesus name.

But God is not distant from your pain. He is near. He is present when you don't have the words. He is with you when nobody else understands. Your emotions may tell you that you're alone. God's Word tells you otherwise. You are seen. You are heard. You are not abandoned. 👉 Reflection: Have you been carrying something alone that you need to bring before God? 🙏 Prayer: Father, help me to be conscious of your presence, especially in difficult moments in Jesus name
